Our process is divided into three key phases, ensuring transparency, measurable outcomes, and long-term results.
Phase 1: Entry Audit (SQL-A)
Duration: 1 week
Data Collection: 24 hours
Scope of Analysis:
- Server configuration
- Server security
- Server performance
- Database performance (selected main database)
License: per 1 SQL Server instance and selected main database
The Entry Audit provides a baseline assessment of your SQL Server environment.
It identifies key configuration, security, and performance issues that impact your system’s efficiency.
Phase 2: Monitoring and Tuning / Optimization
Duration: minimum 3 months
Scope:
- Leasing of Woodler’s SQL Monitoring Tool (SMT) license
- Deployment of SMT on the selected SQL Server instance (included in the leasing price), with full access for your IT staff
- 1 MD (man-day) of consultation with Woodler’s SQL experts per month (included in the lease, non-transferable between months)
During this period, Woodler’s experts continuously monitor and fine-tune your SQL Server environment.
Optimization activities are based on identified issues and jointly agreed actions.
Performance changes are verified using SMT to ensure measurable improvements.
Additional consulting or on-site efforts beyond the included scope are provided on a time & material basis according to specific needs.
Phase 3: Final Audit (SQL-A)
Duration: 1 week
Data Collection: 24 hours
Scope of Analysis:
- Server configuration
- Server security
- Server performance
- Deep performance analysis (selected main database)
License: per 1 SQL Server instance and selected main database
The Final Audit validates the results of optimization efforts, measuring actual improvements and ensuring all changes deliver tangible performance gains.

- No limit on the number of databases on the server
